Can I use Marble in my Kitchen?
Yes you can use marble but because it is soft acids will etch the surface and knives can scratch it.
Can I put hot things on my Granite?
Yes, Granite can withstand heat up to 900 degrees, it is the softer stones such as Marble and Limestone that we recommend you use a hot pad.
How often should my stone be resealed?
We suggest sealing your stone once a year, you can do this your self by purchasing a sealer such as Porous Plus. Be sure to read the manufactures directions.
What is the difference between honed and polished?
These terms refer to the finish, Honed is a flat finish making stone look softer and polished is a glossy look making it look smooth and sleek.
Why doesn't my slab look exactly like my sample?
Because Granite and Marble are natural stones created by nature each piece is often different from the rest. This is what makes natural stone so unique to each customer.
Why can't you give me a quote over the phone?
Because every job is different we can't give you an accurate number without discussing the details with you and actually seeing your project.
